Alan Jay Braverman

Firm founder Alan Jay Braverman is a Florida Bar board-certified practitioner of marital and family law who focuses his practice on legal separation and divorce-related issues, including child custody and visitation, child support, alimony, and domestic violence. He was born in Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in 1970. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami in 1973. He is admitted to the bar in Florida (1973) and New Jersey (1975), and he is an active member of the bar before the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the District of New Jersey. Mr. Braverman is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association, as well as the American Bar Association.

Mr. Braverman is registered with the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. In 2006 and 2007, Mr. Braverman was named a "Top Lawyer in Florida" and listed as one of "Florida's Super Lawyers." Mr. Braverman has served on numerous Florida Bar committees and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator.
