Candice D. TobinCandice D. Tobin, a native of Florida, was educated at Nova Southeastern University, where she received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 2000. Her practice focuses on family law and commercial litigation Ms. Tobin is admitted to practice in the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, as well as the District of Columbia Bar. Ms. Tobin also is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association-Broward Chapter (Membership Chair), the Florida Bar Civil Procedure Rules Committee (2003), and the Broward County Women Lawyers' Association (President, 2003-04; 2004-05). She has published and/or co–authored a number of articles, including: "Election 2000: The Law of Tied Presidential Elections," 26 Nova L. Rev. 647 (2003), as well as "Misconduct During Closing Arguments in Civil and Criminal Cases: Florida Case Law," 24 Nova L. Rev. 35 (1999), and "Prosecutorial Misconduct During Closing Argument: Florida Case Law," 22 Nova L. Rev. 485 (1997).
